Some Things Are Funny:
| Thanks to Gill J. It is so cold outside I saw a politician with his hands in his own pockets. My girlfriend told me I was one in a million. When I looked through her text messages, I had to admit she was right. Dentist: “You need a crown.” Patient: “Finally someone who understands me.” I’ve no home, I haven’t got control, I can’t see any escape. It’s way past time I got a new keyboard. The face is familiar……. but I can’t quite remember my name. Times are really hard at the moment, I hear the mafia has just had to lay off 3 more judges. Two guys are out hunting in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn’t appear to be breathing, his eyes are glazed over. The other man pulls out his phone with trembling fingers and calls 911. He gasps, “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator says “Please stay calm. I will help you. First of all, let’s make sure he’s dead.” There’s a silence, then a gun shot. The guy gets back on the phone and says “OK, now what?” |
Action Plan for the week:
- Do you feel called to do what you are doing? Ask yourself this question? Have a friend tell you what they think.
- Are you happy doing what you are doing?
- Is there anything you would rather be doing?
- If the answer to the above questions are YES, then enjoy your career, you have been called. However, if the answers are NO, then you have two choices. Find another career or learn to enjoy your current career. The decision is yours to make.
