Keith’s career in the “built environment” has included real estate professional, engineer, owner’s representative and consultant for the past 40 years. As a Broker/Owner, Designated Broker, and Branch Manager he has managed commercial and residential real estate offices for Coldwell Banker Bain Associates and other leading national real estate firms in the greater Seattle and regional marketplaces for most of his career.
Keith learned early in his career that “teaching” was also at the center of his career development. Over the past 15 years, as a State of Washington certified clock hour trainer, he taught a wide variety of real estate courses, and has mentored both new and experienced Brokers and Managers in the skill set training they needed to be consistent high achievers. Keith knew he had to learn something well enough to teach it – then teach it to someone else – and lastly, to teach his students to teach. This teaching “cycle” completes the circle and allows the “student” to continue their own mentoring path with someone new.
Keith always enjoys the diversity of every project he has the pleasure to work on and always enjoyed it’s never ending challenges. He learned most of all that his career’s work really focused on a never ending variety of “life transitions” for both individuals and industry, and the real estate that was common and an integral part of it all.
Keith is a native of California State and has lived in Washington State since 1979. He has two grown children in Montana and enjoys his family and four grandchildren as much as he can. He also enjoys the feel of a good fly rod and a crystal mountain stream to “practice” his fly fishing. He usually isn’t too far from the water to enjoy the outdoors, boating, kayaking and sailing.
Above all – Keith is passionate about the real estate industry as a whole and will tell you that he “quit working” the day he started working for himself.
